Step One: First we prep the work area and tape off all the areas of the kitchen that will not be painted - the walls, ceiling, countertops and appliances. Then our team removes all cabinet door hardware along with all cabinet and drawer fronts.
Step Two: We lightly sand all surfaces, to remove some of the old paint and to create a roughing of the surface for the primer to adhere to. We use wood filler to plug any holes where cabinet handles will not be installed again. Our Superior Difference Step Three: For all kitchen cabinet painting we apply a total of six coats! These are all sprayed on to all surfaces and cabinets that need painting. The first two coats of primer are painted on all the surfaces. Once those have dried then two coats of the finish paint are applied. Once that is dried on the cabinets, cabinet frame, cabinet door and drawers then the final two coats are a clear coat that protect the paint from washing off the kitchen cabinets over time and ensures the cabinets look fresh and new for years to come. Step Four: Once the paint has been able to fully cure the kitchen cabinet doors and drawers are reinstalled. New holes are drilled for new door handle hardware and installed.
